At least when she's done her time (probably will be more like 9 days) she will be free and not need to attend classes or wear an alcohol tag. She has done this to herself and thought she would be able to blag it, Epic fail! All that said i quite like her, she's a typical former child star who grew up with loads of fame and money, no wonder she likes to party so hard, so would many of us if were honest !!

This will obvioulsy be distressing to her, but to be fair, if it was one of us, the ordinary guy/gal of the block, we wouldnt of got the previous warnings shes had and got away with things, she had her chances and shes took the **** again, its right what they are doing! i dont wish the girl any harm in there and i hope she comes out stronger and a lesson learnt, but its fair play guys

poor thing,! i cant really see what she has done to deserve a prison sentence, would have been better community service . they make you clean the roads in hollywood, which i am sure puts real life in perspective , prison is a wee bit harsh,

Had it been jo shmo missing appointments they'd have been banged up quick-time.Sure she'll love it in jail.Serves her right.Hopefully it'll give her time to reflect and clean up her act.

in one way im glad shes going down as celebs think they are above the law, but having a drink monitor on ur ankle seems harsh, u can drink without driving and alcohol isnt illegal. But she'll only serve an hour or two like that bimbo friend of hers paris hilton

I know people on here really seem to enjoy seeing people suffer, but this seems really harsh to me. What exactly has she done that's so terrible? A few missed appointments doesn't seem to justify 90 in jail - especially since she didn't serve that after committing her crimes in the first place!

She needs to go throught this to LEARN..that just because she is a celeb, you cant get away with everything.All though somepeople might think it's harsh..it's not ..she must be punished, and I think the Judge has had enough of her nonsense. wether she will serve the full 90, is not yet known..but I hope she sits in jail and realises that life is not one massive spend-up and party till you drop!! Well done to the Judge..

I feel for Lindsay, it just seems to be one thing after another. Yes she deserves jail if a "normal person" would have received the same sentence, but I think more than anything the judge should have given her a harsher rehabilitation programme. She clearly needs help, its been going on for ages.

SHE SHOULD HAVE GON ETO SPECSAVERS....THEN WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO READ THE FINE PRINT OF THE COURT ORDER PROPERLY AND NOT MISS CLASS. IF U BOOZE IT UP WHAT DO U EXPECT, SOME LESSONS ARE HARD TO LEARN BUT MAYBE THE JUDGE IS ALSO MAKING AN EXAMPLE OUT OF HER. I AM SURE THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF GIRLS SENT TO PRISON EVERYDAY.

and if she killed someone while drunk? when a person is not only a danger to the themselves but to everyone around them, they are nasty and out of control, when they fail to realize their own idiocy. what would you expect everyone to do? pat her on the back and say good job and then everyone will be looking to her so others can do the same thing, to kill someone in a drunken state. rules are rules, and nasty doesnt come into the equation especially when someone needs a dose of cold water to get their head out of their backside, especially someone like Lohan who has refused to take her part of the problem strictly, if she did as she was told there would be no need for any of this, but because she took it lightly and there is no excuse for that. that should tell you all you need to know, if she cant stick to rules and her 12 appointments, what makes you think she wont kill someone one day for failure to 'listen' next time?

question is how long will it take before she mows a few children and mothers down near a school one day because she got drunk or took drugs? would that classify your 'problem' as a 'terrible' action on her part? because it could just as easily happened and all it took is one wrong turn of the wheel...
