You silly people who slate her and think that 90 days in the slammer will do her any good! She needs STRONG people around to put her in her place, instead she has a half wit mother who does nothing and an ex druggy/alcoholic father that just shouts his mouth off. Her Lawyer (Who was part of the defense team for OJ Simpson, god knows how she sleeps at night) didn't even think Lohan had a drug/Alc problem. If any of those people REALLY cared for Lohan they would have made damn sure she got to those lesson and took some kind of control of her life when clearly she was not mentally stable enough to control herself. What benefit is jail going to be to a already unstable person??? The judge should have sent her to a compulsory no frills rehab unit in the middle of nowhere, give her treatment so hopefully she can regain her mental health. The trouble is she hasn't got anyone to really truly love and support her when she gets out of Jail or Rehab. Poor girl.

About time too! Spoiled wee brat has been getting off with things for too long. Saying that she'l probably only do a few hours then get whisked off to some fancy rehab centre again!

If only we had judges like this over here I mean judges who judge and not go with the media take on things.
It is about time this spoilt little girl was taight a lesson and it is also about time some of the other spoilt brats over here are dealt with .
Our judges seem out of date and and out of bottle what a breath of fresh air this judge is.

Its her own fault, she is an adult. In the USA one cannot treat the justice system as a joke. She did not take the advise of the Judge seriously in the past. Hopefully 90 days in the slammer with other junkies would make her come to her senses.

3 months in jail will do her a world of good. her playing im the victim and innocent routine against a judge? and she claims she didnt do it on purpose? thats a load of crap, for one she was given this suspended sentence and she knew it was over her, for two, the media dont forget and thats one thing lohan should of been grateful to. three, a woman like her and her importance to the various different engagements has a routine, there is no excuse to make up a routine and fail to miss something, and four she went to france with the intent on enjoying the place, she cant say she did no go there to mourn over the death of glamour becauses thats absolute tosh, she deliberatly didnt care about the order and no finally this woman is gonna get locked up.

How many warnings did she get? And she has the cheek to sit there and cry for sympathy giving it the old 'I didn't know' ploy She knew that if she didn't do what the court told her to do then she would go to jail. She had so many chances and ignored the warnings

This is what happens when you repeatedly break the law and your lucky a mere mortal would have got 5 months not a pathetic 90 days you will be out next week and back to breaking the law again.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time. She isn't 6, she is 24. Shame it isn't longer. She kept pushing and pushing the judge so eventually she had to send her to jail - America lets celebrities get away with murder (literally) but if you keep pushing they have no choice. I hope her career ends now. Sort your life out Lindsey!

Maybe this is the "rock bottom" she needed to realise she was on a path of self destruction. Hopefully when she gets out she'll clean up her act and get her once promising career back on track.
