Lohan jailed for 90 days

TROUBLED LINDSAY LOHAN wept as she was sentenced to 90 days in jail last night.
The Mean Girls star, 24, violated her probation for a 2007 drink-driving charge by repeatedly missing alcohol education classes.
She insisted she did not realise she was breaking the order and that her work schedule had stopped her attending regularly.
Lohan turned up with the defiant message 'F*** U' painted on her nails.
But she told Beverly Hills Supreme Court Judge Marsha Revel: "I'm not taking this as a joke. It's my life and my career, something I have worked for my entire life.
"I have tried to do the best I can. I really did think I was doing what I was supposed to do, and I mean it with all my heart."
Lohan had been ordered to give up booze after missing a court date in May.
Judge Revel said: "I couldn't have been more clear, and it wasn't done. It is like someone who doesn't think it's cheating unless she gets caught."
Lohan was required to wear an alcohol monitoring unit on her ankle. But it gave off an alert at an MTV awards party in June.
Lawyers for the star said the unit, which senses alcohol on the skin, was faulty after someone fiddled with it. Lohan will start her sentence on July 20.

Good but these type of "stars" will always get an easy time of it because of who they are.She will prob write a book about this( well someone will write a book for her) or at least a big mag would pay a fortune for her story so these "stars" always win .Give her a proper hard manual job to do that would really hurt !.

They dont mess about in america, not only is prison a punishment, unlike our's but they actually send people to jail after 1 warning, unlike our judges who give people 100 warning's then send them to jail when they have commited a more serious offence often due to the judges lenience

She thought she was above the law and has taken the michael for a very long time. If it wasn't for the fact that she'd starred in a few poorly acted movies, she would have been in the slammer a looooong time ago.

Good! Hope the silly sniveling little wretch will spend her time in jail thinking about her selfish, reckless, stupid behaviour and make drastic plans to turn her life around when she gets out. But somehow, I doubt it.

Too little too late sweety,,,,the tears may very well work though, bet she dont do 90 days! These celebs certainly do think they are above the law and mainly thats cause the law allows it! Hopefully though and seriously this can be the wake up call she needs, she was a good actress, such a waste otherwise.

Better 90 days in the slammer than Eternity in a grave. This might be the best thing to happen to her. At least she will come out sober. Maybe she will realize she needs help and pursue genuine rehab.

BRITS ABROAD are suffering far longer and harsher sentences, for far less than this. TAKE IT LIKE AN ADULT - it is, after all, ONLY 90 days.
