A GIRL pictured grabbing Cheryl Cole after an X Factor audition is "completely obsessed" with the singer, pals revealed yesterday.

Air hostess Danielle Beeres, 21, talks about her constantly and practises copying Cheryl's signature.

Danielle sparked a security alert when she grabbed the 26-year-old star's wrist and did not let go after asking her to autograph a DVD cover.

The incident happened outside a hotel in Birmingham on Monday following the TV audition.

Yesterday it emerged Danielle, who works for airline BMI, keeps a scrap book with pictures and articles of Cheryl which she pores over on flights.

On her Facebook profile, the name "Cheryl Cole" is the only thing that appears on her Interests list.

A former workmate, who did not wish to be named, said: "Danielle is mad about Cheryl, so in a way I'm not surprised she's done this. All she talks about is Cheryl. I've even heard her telling passengers how amazing she is.

"We have to carry around cabin folders with our paperwork, and hers are full of pictures of Cheryl ripped from magazines and papers.

"It's strange to see her sat there on a flight signing Cheryl's name on bits of scrap paper. And weirder when she signs her own name 'Danielle Cole'.

"She's certainly a little bit eccentric, to say the least."

Danielle's mum Glenys Talbot denied her daughter was obsessed with Cheryl.

She said she was pushed into the singer by the crowd.

Glenys, who lives with Danielle in Nuneaton, Warwicks, said: "Danielle is definitely not obsessed with her.

"She loves her music and has posters. But who doesn't look up to pop stars at her age?"

Danielle, take my piece of advse. Go back to shcoo, you are 21. Grow some brains into your head since NO, it is not normal that you are a fan of some little singer. I mean, I like some singers as well, but I would not harress them or follow them aorund.

I am not surprised by this incident. I bet there are a lot more like her out there. Cheryl Cole is paraded in our papers, hyped up by the media and constantly thrown at us everywhere we look day in and day out, so this sort of thing is bound to happen. Of course it's not right but there are people out there who are vulnerable and susceptible to this sort of thing.

Its the life some kids live now trying to be someone else they are bombarded with the media telling them that this or that person is god or nearly god and they are made to believe this bunkum.They must be given the lesson that whoever you are in life there is only one you and if you are true to yourself you will be happy in that life.Trying to be someone else is fraught with danger no matter how like someone else you become you will eventually fall flat on your face doing it.This girl does not look unattractive so why not be herself and not a clone.

Cheryl is on one channel or another from the first thing you get up, until you go to bed at night. A side effect is that some of the impressionable immatures she appeals to will see her as the "empress of the free world", which is obviously what Cheryl and her spin doctors kind of want.
