KATY PERRY will be a guest judge on X Factor, joining CHERYL COLE, LOUIS WALSH and Simon for the Dublin auditions on June 28.

Here she is performing at the final of TV show Germany's Next Top Model. She swapped the blue wig from her MTV show last weekend for a purple number. KYLIE also sang.

Katy - who went clothes shopping in Paris yesterday - will be ace on The X Factor.

If she can hold her own with the wit of RUSSELL BRAND, she'll cope easily with Simon's sharp tongue.

Sounds like an audition to me. A future X Factor USA judge?

simply because they aren't famous enough, and anyway I doubt they would want to lower themselves to that level. Doesn't matter that they are far more talented than Katy Perry - we all know Cowell has never been interested in genuine talent. I do like Katy but making her a talent judge is a joke.

Correct. I must have had a momentary lapse of reason to think that talented celebrities would be asked to appear on that show.
