Cheryl Cole - Judges take a pop at Cheryl

CHERYL Cole will have had more than just 3 Words for her fellow X Factor judges - after they both had a pop at her during auditions.

Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh ganged up on the Girls Aloud beauty, slating her band and her solo performances.

The spat began when a raunchy girl group, called Madame Butterfly, came on stage at London's ExCel centre during Wednesday's trials.

Simon sniped to them that they must not take inspiration from British groups, like Girls Aloud.

And he asked the foursome who they were influenced by, saying: "I bet you only like American groups, like Destiny's Child."

Stony-faced Cheryl stayed quiet. One of the singers eventually said they liked Girls Aloud too.

Then to add to the frosty atmosphere, Louis took his own swipe at the 26-year-old when a Romanian male model performed her single Fight For This Love from her 3 Words solo album.

Beefy Adrian had the audience in hysterics as he pranced around the stage warbling an out-of-tune, cringe-worthy version of her hit.

Afterwards, Cheryl laughed that he had made a "great song choice".

But Louis wiped the smile off her face, quipping: "That was about as good as you can do it live."

Cheryl didn't retaliate but looked furious as he and Simon sniggered.

An insider said: "Their nasty comments really hit a nerve with her.

"She's never been fully confident about her singing ability, especially since launching her solo career and not having the other girls on stage.

"To be humiliated in front of thousands of people by Simon and Louis was really a step too far."

Cheryl was criticised during last year's X Factor when she performed Fight For This Love, but pre-recorded the vocals instead of singing live.

Louis's attack looked like retaliation as he and Cheryl had earlier traded insults about their teeth.

Show supremo Simon had told Louis to have his gnashers whitened after the last series.

But Cheryl, who has had hers fixed with porcelain veneers, claimed they still looked grubby.

He shot back: "At least I've got my own teeth still."

A source said: "Cheryl was a bit taken aback. It got a bit catty."

We revealed yesterday how Cheryl is set to revert to her maiden name after Simon called her Tweedy at Monday's auditions.

The singer is to divorce love-rat England star Ashley Cole, 29, within weeks.

what music career?? she had one pathetic chav song, she cant sing live, she cant dance, shes a rubbish performer, shes more of a fashion icon gaining her popularity through her relationship and looks. i mean comon if you like cheryl cole your a chav or potential chav going for looks and popularity rather then talent.

Excellent point, she is very hairy. Although I wonder if she has had electrolysis as her hair line was basically eye brow years ago.

There's stating the truth, and then there's making a nasty comment. To say Cheryl is rubbish at singing and a joke as a musical art form is merely stating the truth. Don't see what all the fuss is about. Tell us something we don't know.

As per X factor judges , if Cheryl cant singing a note properly and use pre recorded vocals for her live performances then why is she still sitting in the judging panel? Is she just there are eye-candy stuff as the real judging job is done by males judges.

lets have a one on one between Cheryl and lady gaga... guess Cheryl would then know where she stands!!!

a very poor karaoke singer at best she is surrounded by hype thats all

Lady Gagag no better than Cheryl!!??? Guess you haven't seen her live she is amazing. Go look at Cheryls audition for Girls Aloud she wouldn't even make it past the first round now!

She can't sing. If she looked remotely average everyone would tell her so but as long as her looks hold out she'll be told whatever it is she wants to hear.

Saw Cheryl 3 weeks ago. Shes not a great singer live but does put on a good performance and is enjoyable to watch.

Cheryl got lucky, that's it! Take a pretty girl that can get away with kareoke ie. Cheryl, give her new teeth, a nose job, hair extensions & a stylist etc & there you have it! I don't see a hint of talent I'm afraid :p

Why they destroyed a fully functioning girl band called girls aloud is above me! They were fruitful as a group..If there is one person in that group has the real potentiial and voice ; and that is Nadine.

There is absolutely no comparison between Gaga & Tweedy! Gaga live is superb, her voice pitch perfect in comparison. She is undoubtedly a talented musician. Cheryl just got lucky, then got commercially moulded!

The other girls aloud singers more prettier just because they r not in public eye as much as Cheryl we don't realise. Its all called brain washing! To be honest I didnt even get the hype about Girls Aloud, they all sounded talentless to me, the songs were the same old boring crap.. I mean 90% of people can sing in tune to music... yawns..
