X FACTOR boss Simon Cowell is introducing Cheryl Cole on the show as TWEEDY - confirming she is dumping her married name.
Show judge Cheryl, 26, is just weeks from divorcing her love rat husband, England defender Ashley Cole.
Pals say she will revert to her maiden name and will have the "Mrs C" tattoo on her neck lasered off.
At Monday's London auditions, Simon jumped the gun and introduced her by saying: "And this is Cheryl . . . Tweedy."
A witness said the audience were "stunned", adding: "Cheryl's face didn't give much away. Simon was sort of joshing but she didn't laugh or look annoyed."
It is the first time Cheryl has been called by her maiden name in public since she split from Chelsea star Ashley, 29, earlier this year.
The Sun revealed how last month she filed for divorce and lawyers expect it to be sorted within weeks.
Using her old name will be a challenge for her record label, who released her first album under the name Cole.

She flew in from Los Angeles as rumours circulated the pair's romance was on the rocks. But a pal said: "Everything's cool."

it doesn't matter who's more talented. Cashley may be a good footballer but it doesn't change the fact that he was a crap boyfriend and a husband.

so you actually prefer a serial cheating liar that has no personality or loyalty and the only talent is to be able to control a ball with his feet, to one of the most stunningly beautiful women in the world that has a career that continues to improve on three different fronts, can sing, dance, and sell millions of records, is extremely popular and will make it big in America. I really cannot understand your thinking, in a few short years, all you will ever see Ashley Cole on will be quiz shows, or some dance program so that he can try to replace a lost career in football, Cheryl did no wrong, she gave that waste of air more than enough chances and he threw it back in her face, he of course now regrets it but it is too late, he must be the most stupid man on the planet.
