She is very beautiful, that cannot be denied, although I have always thought her nose too big. However I think there is something very fake about her personality. She used to publicly say very nasty things about other people ie Charlotte Church & Lily Allen and a leopard never changes its spots.

I quite agree this award should have gone to someone that puts themselves out and does good for others. Perhaps someone like Joanna Lumley who fought tirelessly for the Gurkas or Sara Payne that has saved so many children from harm.

The nations sweetheart she must great to live with imagine doing a bit of adventure stuff like hill walking or mountain biking with her and then going down to the local and having a pint with her.

Woman of the year ?? now I have heard it all. Btitain is full of these fame chasing, headline grabbing, talentless so called celebs, not one of them can sing a good note yet worshipped by audiences who would not recognise a good note.

Woman of they year should be the nurses who saves lives, Mothers who go through hardship to raise a family on their own, these are the women I admire, not women who ride on the backs of other famous people, partying everynight, falling out of nightclubs and bars.

I don't get the hate? Why moan? She's been sucessful with her music (which i'm not really a fan of) and been through an embarressing divorce in the public eye. She hasn't been telling the papers anything and has made it quite clear that she doesn't want to talk about it. Imagine this all happened to that skank Jordan, you would know everything and more!! She's made alot due to her looks and if you were gaining the same amount of attention you'd love it.....

Well, I've heard a rubber band, and seen a peanut stand, and I've seen a car turn into a lay-by, but I never expected to see Cheryl Tweedy named as "Woman of the Year". Absolutely hilarious! At least the organisers of this ludicrous title don't take it too seriously and have a decent sense of humour.

Now there is no deniying that she is Gorgeous ( but we all could be with teams of hair and makeup people ) But to give her woman of the year ..... umm well you know..... I could think of many woman i know that have achieved so much more... but are just not famous..... one in particular lost her Husband and her father a year apart.. has struggled to come to terms with it whilst keeping her two beautiful children and her siblings smiling ... and strong... so to me and many other woman out there....... It's the real Hero's that deseve that title... Not the air brushed , attention seeking celebs .

she never will because there are so many ppl who cannot bear to see an atractive woman doing well - htey hide behind excuses of "she cant even sing" but clearly she is doing very well regardless of talent and she has worked very hard to get where she is noone just woke her up one day and handed her millions a singing contract and a place in a girl band she had to go out and find that for herself - that deserves respect any 1 of us could do the same we all choose not to that is why she has millions and we dont - u cant hate her for that but they do

So to stand a chance of becoming Woman of the Year you have to go through an 'embarrassing divorce' (which hasn't even started yet) be successful in your field (she managed one N?1) - oh and look pretty (so if you aren't you stand no chance). My God what a difference she's made to the world.

There's a lot of jealous people out there. You seem to have a downer on success stories. So Cheryl has been voted ' Woman of the Year '. It's not her fault. The voting panel decided in her favour. They obviously saw something that they liked and deserving of the title. Good on you Cheryl.

What a lot of people out there are saying that there are more deserving people out there are right...but this looks like it is a showbiz "woman of the year " award judging by most of the "celebrities " there..so CC is probably most deserving.... when you look at some of them..apart from her cheating husband...who probably deserves "rat of the year" followed closely by JT....CC has had a very good year....whatever her critics say..Well done CC.

everyone is writing that she shoudlnt be woman of the year "what about nurses etc" do you all realize its woman of the year at the glamour awards?! I wouldnt expect to see a nurse or a troop fighting for our country win at the glamour awards!! cheryl deserves it, she is beautiful, smart and very glam!
