ALEXANDRA BURKE has hit it off with the Aussie cricket star MICHAEL CLARKE.

The X Factor winner met Michael backstage at a TV show they both appeared on Down Under last week.

They were taking pictures of each other and chatting away, but failed to swap numbers.

Alex, is not one to hold back, so later on she tweeted: "Michael Clarke, thank you for taking a picture with me. I hope that I get to meet you again soon - maybe we can do some seafood in Sydney?"

The pair have since arranged to meet up in London later this week.

Michael is considered one of Australia's most eligible bachelors after his recent break-up with model LARA BINGLE.

An Oz TV source said: "Alex was taken off backstage in one direction and Michael in another and they couldn't find each other afterwards. She was really angry that she'd let him get away - and he wasn't impressed either."

Funny how she said a while ago she would put her music career before finding love......that was before her "Alledged" 4 relationships. I would give up on the music career as you cant sing. and will be a nobody in 3 years.

I love this lady, and her music. I was so pleased when she won X Factor. And if she has found love with this handsome guy then good luck to them both. I hope she has found happiness. Not all relationships work out aboutbridlington. Its finding that special person and yes that can sometimes take time and maybe meeting the wrong people till you find the right one.

WOW was in Australia?? good luck to her anyway just soo many stories written about her and Cheryl's love-life etc.. I wont believe anything until things get confirmed by them!
